Dialogs and Rhythmic Sections
Hello everyone! This November starts for countune with two new experiments: the American artist Connie Goldman shows details of her works as background for the countune-picture-strip. Seemingly minimalistic, combining painting and sculpture, they stretch simple geometric rooms in this excerpt-like presentation. And that is exactly how they enter in a beautiful dialog with the moving countune-picture-strip. The dialog will also be recorded musically, since for the first time there will be offered chamber music (piano - clarinet) with Christine Jansen and Pierre-André Taillard at countune.
You are cordially invited to a countune-visit, and you don't even have to leave the house for it. Watching and participating - both is possible. For those of you, who have already created a picture, there will be two new functions waiting in the workshop. Wait and see.
Current site-data, November 2011:
- 46299 numbers - 1140 pictures - 462,99 m length of picture strip
- daily changing background images of Connie Goldman: "Rhythmic Sections"
- weekly changing music of Christine Jansen and Pierre-André Taillard: "Works by W. Lutoslawski"
- new trailer at video with Franz Peters and Martin Münch
Best wishes. Yours Gerd Jansen. 1. November 2011
